Art & Design in Japan

Dates: May 20th – 29th, 2026

Step into Japan’s creative soul on a 10-day journey crafted for design lovers, aesthetes, and curious travelers seeking more than just sightseeing. Together with renowned interior designer Milagros Gálvez, we’ll explore the country through the lens of Art, Design, and Cultural Expression, moving beyond the obvious to uncover Japan’s quiet innovation, refined aesthetics, and deep respect for craftsmanship.

This is a journey for those who value a slower, more intentional way of travel—where every space tells a story and every encounter offers inspiration. From Tokyo’s cutting-edge design districts and architectural landmarks to Kyoto’s centuries-old artisan workshops and serene ryokans, you’ll experience the delicate dialogue between tradition and modernity that defines Japan’s creative identity.

Guided by Milagros’ eye for detail and design, and supported by local experts along the way, we’ll immerse ourselves in workshops with ancient techniques, exclusive access to design-forward spaces, buildings with curated architecture and more.

We’ll travel as a small, like-minded group, staying in boutique hotels and design-led properties that embody the principles of Japanese minimalism—spaces where simplicity meets warmth, and every element, from texture to light, feels intentional.
