Boca de Agua - A new way of staying
On the shores of Bacalar’s Lagoon of Seven Colors, Hotel Boca de Agua emerges as a proposal that transforms the idea of contemporary luxury. Its villas, suspended among the trees, appear to float above the landscape in a constant dialogue with the water and the jungle. It is a sanctuary that invites guests to reconnect with nature through silence, lightness, and conscious design.
Architecture that breathes with nature
Designed by Frida Escobedo, the hotel blends innovation with environmental sensitivity. Each structure rises on stilts to preserve the terrain, while wooden lattices filter light and allow the breeze to flow. The architecture doesn’t seek to dominate but to integrate—creating a perfect balance between form, function, and environment.
Beyond aesthetics, an inner experience
The interiors reflect the same philosophy: warm, minimalist spaces where reclaimed wood and neutral tones evoke a deep sense of calm. Here, luxury isn’t measured in excess but in authenticity—in the natural texture of materials, in the stillness of dawn over the lagoon, in the sound of the wind moving through the treetops.
An ethic of regenerative hospitality
Boca de Agua redefines luxury tourism through a regenerative approach. More than 90% of the land remains untouched, mangroves have been restored, and the lagoon’s waters are protected through sustainable treatment systems. It is a place that not only respects nature but actively nurtures it.
